A graduate of the Yale School of Drama, Majors rose to prominence for starring in the drama films The Last Black Man in San Francisco (2019) and Da 5 Bloods (2020), and the HBO horror series Lovecraft Country (2020), for which he received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination.
