The 1999 Bash at the Beach was the sixth Bash at the Beach professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by World Championship Wrestling (WCW). The event took place on July 11, 1999, from the National Car Rental Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. [3]
This led to a tag team match at Bash at the Beach between Kevin Nash and Sting against Savage and Sid, in which whoever scored the winning fall would win the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. Savage won his fourth and final WCW World Heavyweight Championship when he pinned Nash. [7] [8] Savage's last reign as champion did not last long.
Luger and Hall started the match. As Nash held Luger onto the top turnbuckle, Sting hit a Stinger Splash on Nash, and Savage hit an axe handle on Hall. Luger, however, was unable to get out of the way and was knocked out cold. The match stopped to take Luger backstage. After the match resumed, Sting dominated Hall and tagged in Savage.
However, as the nWo was leaving the ringside area, Sting rappelled into the ring from the rafters. He then proceeded to attack Hall, Nash, and Savage with a baseball bat, and laid out all three men with his Scorpion Death Drop. Sting then pointed the bat at Hogan, challenging him to come into the ring.

After the match, however, Hogan assaulted Nash.
