Babe: Pig in the City is a 1998 comedy-drama adventure film and the sequel to Babe (1995). It was co-written, produced and directed by George Miller , who co-wrote and produced the original film. Magda Szubanski and James Cromwell reprise their roles from the first film, with Mickey Rooney joining the cast.
Szubanski performed in the 1995 film Babe as Esme Hoggett. She reprised her role in the 1998 sequel, Babe: Pig in the City. She then teamed up again with director/producer George Miller to voice the role of Miss Viola in the animated films Happy Feet and Happy Feet Two.
In 1998, a sequel directed by Miller, Babe: Pig in the City, was released, but it failed to achieve the same success as the first film. [12] In 2006, a video game based on the original film was published by Mastertronic Group for the PlayStation 2. [13]
