Al Jawhara bint Fahd is a daughter of Fahd bin Mohammed and Muda bint Assaf. [1] Her father was the second eldest son of Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman , half-brother of King Abdulaziz . Saud was the second son of King Abdulaziz and Wadha bint Muhammad Al Orair. The death of Saud's elder brother, Prince Turki , in 1919 poised Saud to become his father's successor; King Abdulaziz appointed him as the crown prince of Saudi Arabia in 1933.
Abdulaziz bin Musaed bin Jiluwi was the grandson of Jiluwi bin Turki and full brother of Al Jawhara bint Musaed. His sister Al Jawhara married their second cousin Abdulaziz, later the first king of Saudi Arabia. Al Jawhara and Abdulaziz had three children: King Khalid, Prince Mohammed, and Princess Al Anoud. [2]
