The Providence Friars men's ice hockey team is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I college ice hockey program that represents Providence College. A member of Hockey East, the Friars have been coached by Nate Leaman since 2011. Leaman led the friars to a national championship in 2015.
The 2024–25 Providence Friars Men's ice hockey season will be the 74th season of play for the program and 41st in Hockey East. The Friars will represent Providence College in the 2024–25 NCAA Division I men's ice hockey season, play their home games at Schneider Arena and be coached by Nate Leaman in his 14th season.

The Friars represented Providence College in the 2023–24 NCAA Division I men's ice hockey season , played their home games at Schneider Arena and were coached by Nate Leaman in his 13th season.
The Wildcats are now 4-1-1 (2-0-1 Hockey East), while the Friars are 5-1-2 (1-0-2 Hockey East). The Wildcats visit Providence on Saturday at Schneider Arena at 7 p.m.
The Friars have an all-time record of 615–236 (.722) at the AMP. [22] On rare occasions, the Providence Friars women's basketball team has played "home" games in the arena, most notably for games against URI or UConn, where demand for tickets would be enough to warrant an arena larger than the 1,854-seat Alumni Hall.
