West Hampstead is a station on the Mildmay line of the London Overground, located on West End Lane in the London Borough of Camden. Located in Travelcard Zone 2 , it is situated between Brondesbury and Finchley Road & Frognal stations.
West Hampstead railway station is on the North London Line, with train services provided by London Overground. It was known as West End Lane until 1975. It is on the western side of West End Lane between the tube station and Iverson Road. As of 2018, annual usage was 4.5 million. West Hampstead tube station is on London Underground Jubilee line.
West Hampstead is an area in the London Borough of Camden in north-west London. Mainly defined by the railway stations of the same name, it is situated between Childs Hill to the north, Frognal and Hampstead to the north-east, Swiss Cottage to the east, South Hampstead to the south-east and Kilburn to the west and south-west.

The name proposed for this service in 2015 was the 'North London line'. [4] In 2021, Sadiq Khan announced that if re-elected as Mayor of London, he would give the six services operated by London Overground unique names that would reflect London's diversity, working with his Commission for Diversity in the Public Realm. [5]
These include West Hampstead and Shadwell. Paddington, Edgware Road, Euston, Liverpool Street and Canary Wharf stations are exceptions to this rule due to the complicated track alignments between these stations. Temporary OSIs such as Charing Cross-Embankment-Waterloo and same-station-OSI like Woodford are intentionally omitted from this map.
