Corrales is a village in southern Sandoval County, New Mexico, United States. First farmed by Tiquex Pueblo people, chosen due to its proximity to the Rio Grande , as documented by Hispano farmers of Nuevo México in the late 1500s.

The only elections where Sandoval County failed to back the overall winner were in 1912 (Theodore Roosevelt won the state on the Bull Moose ticket), 1944, 1968, 2016, and 2024.
