Morgan County is a county located in the U.S. state of Ohio.As of 2023, the population was 13,646, [1] making it the third-least populous county in Ohio.Its county seat is McConnelsville. [2]
McConnelsville is served by the Morgan Local School District which consists of three elementary schools (grades K-6), one junior high school (grades 7–8), and one high school (grades 9–12). [11] Located three miles south of McConnelsville, the current Morgan High School building was built in 1966 and is home to the "Morgan Raiders".

[2] By 2014, the company had about 850 employees and was one of the Cincinnati metropolitan area's largest private companies. In June 2015, it was acquired by Matthews International and renamed Matthews Aurora Funeral Solutions. [1]
