Collectors' Choice Music (CCM) is an Itasca, Illinois-based record label and retailer of music on CD. Originally the company was primarily in two businesses, but since 2010 only in the second. [1] [2] CCM was best known for reissuing albums originally released in LP record form as compact discs. [3]

The album was released on CD for the first time in 2010 by Collectors' Choice Music (catalogue No. CCM2104), featuring several previously unreleased bonus tracks. [3]Tracks 13-17 were poetry readings by Crosby recorded on September 14, 1977, for charitable purposes and for issue to the various Crosby fan clubs but they remained unissued until the Collectors' Choice CD in 2010.
It was originally released by the British division of Warner Bros. and re-issued in the U.S. by Collectors' Choice Music in 2005. It consists of previously unreleased tracks recorded by the Everlys for Warner Bros. in the 1960s. "Empty Boxes," and "Nancy's Minuet" were B-sides although the version of the latter is an alternate take.

Two years later, the songs from this 10-inch album would be combined with four newly popular songs recorded between 1951 and 1953 to create a full-length 12-inch album. The 2005 Collectors' Choice reissue added four bonus songs recorded between 1949 and 1953 and was released with alternative cover artwork.
