The Austin Loadstar was a truck produced by the British Austin Motor Company from 1949. It was Austin's first new truck design after World War II and the last stand-alone one. This 1 made the Loadstar a significant model for Austin, as it was their final truck design before merging with Morris Motors to form the British Motor Corporation (BMC).

The engine was first used in the Austin K30 light truck and Austin K2/Y military ambulance 1939. After the war, it continued to power the later Austin Loadstar 1-ton truck and the 4x4 variant K9. Post war, it went on to power a number of cars such as the Austin Sheerline and Princess luxury vehicles, Jensen Interceptor and Jensen 541.
The Austin Champ was a military and civilian jeep-like vehicle made by the Austin Motor Company in the 1950s. The army version was officially known as "Truck, 1/4 ton, CT, 4×4, Cargo & FFW, Austin Mk.1" however the civilian name "Champ" was universally, if unofficially, applied to it. The majority of Champs produced went to the British Army.

The Chevrolet Silverado EV is a battery electric full-size pickup truck, to go on sale in Fall 2023 as part of the 2024 model year. Although it uses the Silverado nameplate, it shares few structural traits with the Silverado line, and is instead based on the electric platform used by the GMC Hummer EV.
