Burn is the third studio album by American country music artist Jo Dee Messina, released on August 1, 2000 by Curb Records. Her first No. 1 Billboard album on the Top Country Albums charts, it also hit No. 19 on the Billboard 200 .
Burn also spawned "Bring on the Rain" (which included vocals from Tim McGraw) and became Messina's fifth number-one country song. [ 1 ] After the release of a holiday album in 2002 and a greatest hits project in 2003, Messina went on a temporary recording hiatus. [ 1 ]
