The Vienna Genesis (Vienna, Österreichische Nationalbibliothek, cod. theol. gr. 31), designated by siglum L (Ralphs), is an illuminated manuscript, probably produced in Syria in the first half of the 6th century.
The text contains part of the book of Genesis according to the Septuagint. On the recto it contains Genesis 14 5-8 and on the verso Genesis 14 12–15. [ 3 ] This may be the oldest Christian manuscript that attests to the codex form.
