The 2022–23 Adelaide 36ers season was the 42nd season of the franchise in the National Basketball League (NBL). On 2 October 2022, the 36ers became the first NBL team to beat an NBA team when they defeated the Phoenix Suns .
Back home in Adelaide the 36ers would lose only their third game of the year (and first at home, ending a 20-game home winning streak dating back to June 1985) when they lost Game 2 83–104 at Apollo. The final game played at home in front of a packed Apollo Stadium saw the Adelaide 36ers win their first championship with a 113–91 victory.
