The Adelphi Panthers are the athletic teams that represent Adelphi University, located in Garden City, Long Island, New York, in NCAA Division II intercollegiate sports. The university fields 23 varsity sports programs, and the Panthers compete as members of the Northeast-10 Conference in 22 of their 23 sports.
The following is a list of schools that participate in NCAA Division I baseball. [1] In the 2024 season, 300 Division I schools competed. These teams compete to go to the 64-team Division I baseball tournament and then to Omaha, Nebraska, and Charles Schwab Field, for the eight-team Men's College World Series (MCWS).
The 2024 season was the last for 18 baseball schools in their current conferences. All 11 baseball-sponsoring members of the Pac-12 Conference left for other conferences or became independent: Arizona, Arizona State and Utah joined the Big 12 Conference.
