Its teams represented the United States in the 1920 (four-with-cox), 1924 (four-with), 1928 (four-with and four-without), and 1932 (pair-with) Olympic Games. The Lancaster Event Center fairgrounds opened on February 1, 2001 and is the home of the Lancaster County Fair which became known as the Lancaster County Super Fair when extended to 10 days in 2010 upon the departure of the State Fair to Grand Island. It celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2020.
Today, Crescent Boat Club continues to contribute to the rowing community and Schuylkill Navy. The club houses two rowing programs, Roman Catholic High School and Thomas Jefferson University [ 7 ] during the scholastic seasons and its own novice, junior, and senior sculling programs as well as a private membership and social group.
