Set on 2,588 wooded acres near Glenville in West Virginia’s central region, Cedar Creek State Park has sites for single campers, families and large groups.
The park is home to three small ponds, 14 miles of hiking trails, a miniature golf course, an outdoor pool and more. Two of the park’s unique features include a reconstructed one-room schoolhouse and restored log cabin, which serves as the campground check-in station.

Camp Creek State Park’s Fall Festival is Saturday, September 17, 2022. Always a great day to be at the park, this year you’ll find live music, a craft show, flea market, apple butter making and wagon rides to Campbell Waterfalls. Groups performing include Eddie Marrs from 10:00 am – Noon and Hidden Mountain Treasures, from Noon – 4:00 p.m.
Camping. Tygart Lake State Park’s campground has 36 camping sites. Sites 1-10 come with 50-amp electric and water. The remaining sites are non-electric tent sites. Full hookup sites are not available.
