As of the 2020 United States census , the township's population was 4,183, [ 8 ] an increase of 167 (+4.2%) from the 2010 census count of 4,016, [ 16 ] [ 17 ] which in turn reflected an increase of 93 (+2.4%) from the 3,923 counted in the 2000 census .
