Wilson began his career with Sunderland in 2006, earning a professional contract in 2010. He was sent on loan to Harrogate Town in 2013, playing three times. [3]Wilson was sent out on loan to Gateshead and Chesterfield, failing to make an appearance for either and was released by Sunderland in the summer of 2013.
Wilson began his youth career at Coleraine. Wilson joined English club Brighton & Hove Albion in July 2018. He made regular appearances in the club's under-23 side. [1] In 2020, Wilson scored a two goals in a 3–2 defeat against Leyton Orient in the EFL Trophy. [2] Wilson left the club following the expiry of his contract in 2023.

Ben Wilson (born 25 February 1977) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with Collingwood and the Sydney Swans in the Australian Football League (AFL).. Wilson was secured by Collingwood from Norwood in the 1994 AFL Draft with the ninth selection, but first not from a TAC Cup side.
