Baler (/ b ɑː ˈ l ɛr /, / b ɒ ˈ l ɛr /, / b ʌ ˈ l ɛər /, bah-LAIR; ), officially the Municipality of Baler (Tagalog: Bayan ng Baler; Ilocano: Ili ti Baler), is a municipality and capital of the province of Aurora, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 43,785 people.
Aurora is politically subdivided into 8 municipalities, all encompassed by a lone legislative district. Dilasag and Casiguran form the northern part of the province, while Dinalungan, Dipaculao, Maria Aurora, and Baler (the capital) make up the central portion. The southern half of the province consists of San Luis and Dingalan.
