The original textures in HD resolution. Textures based on the faithful 32x32 pack. I welcome any help and corrections.
so in your case the 2nd number (64 in both cases) refers to the datapath width in bits (64 bits or 8 bytes). The first number refers to the number of megabytes of 8 byte memory locations. Multiply the 2 and you get the size of the DIMM (32x8 = 256MB, 64x8 = 512MB) Question #2, in most cases yes but it ultimately depends on your motherboard ...
Doesn't it have to be 64x64, 32x32, 8x8, ect.. Never heard of a skin being 64x32. The old skin format is 64x32, as is my own skin, which I've never updated to the 1.8 format (1.8 can read the old format so this shouldn't be an issue):
Steven's Traditional is a 64x64 resource pack which aims to stay relatively close to Mojang's look and feel of the Default resource pack present in Minecraft while adding a personal touch to most textures to still give a unique experience without drastically changing every block or item.

But all I want is 64x64 and 64x64 only. If you can only get 64x32, my apologies. So here are things I'd like help with: 1. Finding a 64x64/64x32 MC skin website. 2. I'd appreciate it if I could create my own. 3. 3D editors are my thing, but I'll take whatever I can get to make my own 64x64/64x32 skin. Thnx guys!

64x64 = Same as 16 but with 64 pixels instead. Fair amount of lag. 128x128 = Same as 16 but with 128 pixels instead. High amount of lag for a weaker computer. 256x256 = Same as 16 but with 256 pixels instead. Massive lag. My Quad Core i7 can't handle this. 512x512 = Same as 16 but with 512 pixels instead. This is like Real Life on HD Pills.
