The Clinton County Assessor's office has begun the process of Cyclical Reassessment which requires that we review and verify the property information that we have on record. Every year, we are now required to visit approximately 25% of the parcels in Clinton County.
The County Assessor is an elected official who may serve unlimited 4 year terms. The primary duties of the Assessor are to certify assessed values to the Auditor, serve as secretary of the county Property Tax Board of Appeals, and equalize assessments.
