Francis Xavier Bushman (January 10, 1883 – August 23, 1966) was an American film actor and director. His career as a matinee idol started in 1911 in the silent film His Friend's Wife. [1]
The son of notable silent film star Francis X. Bushman and Josephine Louisa Fladung, he was born in Baltimore and died in Los Angeles at the age of 74. He was a maternal uncle of Pat Conway, star of the television series Tombstone Territory (1957–1960). Bushman and his wife Beatrice were married for 54 years at the time of his death.
