William Sanderson (born January 10, 1944) is a retired American actor. He played J. F. Sebastian in the feature film Blade Runner (1982), and had regular roles on several television series, playing Larry on Newhart (1982–1990), E. B. Farnum on Deadwood (2004–2006, 2019), and Sheriff Bud Dearborne on True Blood (2008–2010, 2012).
It tells the story of Larry Darrell, an American pilot traumatized by his experiences in World War I, who sets off in search of some transcendent meaning in his life. Maugham is the narrator whose narration takes the form of relating his conversations and reactions to the characters. He finds Larry both mystifying and compelling.
John Ole Voldstad (born February 20, 1951) is an American television and film actor best known for his role as one of the brothers Darryl on Newhart. He played "my other brother Darryl", the one with the curlier, lighter colored hair.
