The RER contains 257 stations, 33 of which are within the city of Paris, and runs over 602 km (374 mi) of track, including 81.5 km (50.6 mi) underground. Each line passes through the city almost wholly underground and on tracks dedicated to the RER, but some city center tracks are shared between line D and line B.

Bussy-Saint-Georges station opened on 21 December 1992 [3] [4] on an already existing portion of the line. In fact, trains on line A of the RER used to run without stopping between Torcy and Marne-la-Vallée – Chessy stations since 1 April 1992, start date of the new terminus of the Marne-la-Vallée branch (A4).
The bus stop for Pantin RER is located on the main roads, a short distance away from the station entrance. Bus 151 runs to Porte de Pantin metro station and the Philharmonie de Paris concert hall complex. Night buses N13 and N140 originate from the Gare de l'Est (Paris East Railway Station).
Vincennes is served by both eastern branches of the RER A line, the A2 towards Boissy-Saint-Léger, and the A4 towards Marne-la-Vallée–Chessy. It is the only station on the RER A in zone 2 and the last before the line splits into the A2 and A4.
