In 2008, Slovenia agreed to the acquisition of one Project 10412-class patrol boat in exchange for discharging a multimillion-dollar debt owed by Russia. The ship was laid down in 2009, completed in 2011, and delivered to Slovenia the same year. It was named Triglav after Slovenia's highest mountain and national symbol.
