The Victor Harbor railway line is a 1600 mm (5 ft 3 in) broad gauge line in South Australia. It originally branched from the Adelaide to Melbourne line at Mount Barker Junction then ran 80.6 kilometres (50 miles) south to Victor Harbor .
Victor Harbor is the centre of the surf zone stretching for around 50 km (31 mi) from west of Victor Harbor along to Goolwa, known as the "South Coast" to Adelaide and local surfers. Popular surf beaches in the area include Parsons, Waitpinga, Middleton, and Goolwa .
