The school converted to academy status on 3 September 2007 and was renamed Cornwallis Academy. The school is now sponsored by the Future Schools Trust, [2] but it was previously a community school administered by Kent County Council. However, Cornwallis Academy continues to coordinate with Kent County Council for admissions.
The New Line Academies are two concept schools present in South Maidstone, Kent, England.It consisted of two secondary schools (Cornwallis Academy and New Line Learning Academy) in South Maidstone who were governed under one body to improve standards for children and create greater consistency in the quality of provision through a collective approach to education.
New Line Learning Academy offers GCSEs, BTECs, and NCFEs as study programmes. All sixth form courses previously located on the site have been moved to the neighbouring Cornwallis Academy. Oasis Academy Isle of Sheppey is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form with academy status, located over two sites in Minster-on-Sea on the Isle of Sheppey in the English county of Kent. [3] It is currently managed by the Oasis Community Learning Multi-academy Trust.
A section called The Grange was also built, providing changing rooms, offices and accommodation for the academy players. In 2000, the club vacated The Grange in order to start work on a new £5 million state-of-the-art youth academy and training facility. The move saw the academy players move in with local families.
