Paul Turner Sargent (July 23, 1880 – February 7, 1946) was an Illinois artist, known for his Illinois landscapes and various other images from his trips to California, Indianapolis, and Florida. Throughout his career, he was a true outdoorsman who used nature as his canvas and muse for most of his works.

Lee was born in Aledo, Illinois and attended Ferry Hall School, a preparatory school for girls in Lake Forest, Illinois, from 1920 to 1922. She graduated from Rockford College in 1927 and studied with the American Impressionist and Ashcan School painter Ernest Lawson at the Kansas City Art Institute in 1929.

Thecla was born Julia Thecla Connell in the small town of Delavan, Illinois, the second-youngest of five children. Her artistic talents were evident early on, and she won first prize in a county drawing contest at age 12. [1] After graduating from Delavan High School in 1913, she studied at Illinois State University in Normal for a summer. [1]
Richard Wetzel (born October 23, 1943) is an American artist. He is best known for his oil paintings but also has exhibited collages and sculpture. In 1969 and 1970, Wetzel exhibited with the Chicago Imagists, a grouping of Chicago artists who were ascendant in the late 1960s and early 1970s.
