Moody & Sons, Inc. was an American privately owned construction equipment distributor and heavy machinery service company headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida.The firm was established in 1913 by Maxey Dell Moody who wanted to serve the needs of road construction businesses by distributing construction equipment. Leslie Controls built a new 120,000-square-foot plant in Tampa Telecom Park. It had 230 employees, 100 who had moved from New Jersey. The company also has five service centers around the United States.
