Braulio Alonso (December 16, 1916 – June 5, 2010) was an American high school and junior high school teacher and principal. He served as the first Hispanic president of the National Education Association .
In July 2018 long-tenured faculty, staff, and coach Rob Phillips became Seattle Academy's Head of School. The school has a 21-member board, which consists of current parents, alumni parents and alumni of the school. The chair is David Sheppard. [3] The school has 1,069 students. Annual tuition is $43,692 during the 2023–2024 school year.
Anthony Louis Nicholas Chickillo (born December 10, 1992) is an American former professional football linebacker who played in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at the University of Miami and was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the sixth round of the 2015 NFL draft.
The program was established in the 2020-2021 school year and offers a Pre-IB curriculum for grades 9 and 10, and an IB Diploma Programme for grades 11 and 12. Alonso received the status of a full-fledged IB diploma school for the 2022–2023 school year. The first class of IB students graduated in May 2024.
In 2005, 2006, and 2007, the club visited New York City for the National High School MUN conference, bringing a delegation of 39 students, more than one seventh of the Center School's population. For the first time in 2010, the Center School went to San Francisco and Berkeley for the conference.

Holy Names Academy is a Catholic private all-girls college-preparatory high school, founded by the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary in 1880 and located on the east slope of Seattle's Capitol Hill. It is the oldest continually operating school in Washington state. [1]
