Lewis Army Museum (originally Fort Lewis Military Museum) is a military museum at Joint Base Lewis–McChord in the state of Washington, U.S. It is housed in the historic former Red Shield Inn , which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) and can be seen prominently from Interstate 5 .
The Fort Lewis and McChord AFB Education Centers host these colleges, which offer a variety of course work to serve both civilians and military personnel. Several hundred undergraduate and graduate college courses are offered on base each year. [ 1 ]
The group directs four squadrons operating from 11 locations in Washington, Alaska, Hawaii and Japan. The group provides an Air Support Operations Center and Tactical Air Control Parties to US Army combat units at multiple echelons including United States Army Pacific, I Corps, and nine aviation, airborne, infantry and Stryker brigade combat teams of the 2nd and 25th Infantry Divisions.
