Both boys have 3 letter one syallable names and people still get my DS2 name wrong. His name is Jed and I've seen people do "Jedd" and "Jeb" My neice is Isabel and people always mess it up spelling and her actual name. People add "z" or an extra "l" or even "le" at the end and she's always called "Isabella", my SIL hates it.

Nope. Can't write any letters, and I've never worked on it (SAHM here). His teachers at school said it's very normal for boys to be slightly behind in fine motor skills like coloring and writing/tracing, and closer to 3.5/4 is when they start to do that stuff.
