Domo de la Feria (originally Auditorio Municipal de Leon) is a 4,463-seat indoor arena located in Leon, Guanajuato. [1] Built in the mid-1980s, it is used primarily for basketball, and is home to the Abejas de León basketball team. It is part of the municipal fairgrounds, and is one of the primary venues of the annual Feria Leon.
Since 2004 the city has hosted the headquarters of Rally Mexico located at the Centro de Convenciones Poliforum Leon, which is one round of the World Rally Championship. The La Valenciana or San Cayetano church is an 18th-century Mexican Churrigueresque church built at the opening of the La Valenciana mine, the site of the largest vein of silver found in Mexico.
