It is led by the WSMS Executive, which are elected on an annual basis, and supported by various representatives from different cohorts, clinical schools, advocacy groups, amongst others.
Campbelltown is a suburb located on the outskirts of the metropolitan area of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It is located in Greater Western Sydney 53 kilometres (33 mi) south-west of the Sydney central business district by road. Campbelltown is the administrative seat of the local government area of the City of Campbelltown.
Before the Parramatta campus was developed, classes were held at Westmead, which is now part of the Parramatta campus. The oldest building on the campus was the home of the St Vincent's Boys' Home (active 1891-1985 [3]) at Westmead. [citation needed] The Parramatta campus was established as a campus of WSU in 1998. Campbelltown Hospital, the larger hospital (more than 306 beds possible), operates a 40-bed 24-hour Emergency Department on its Level 0. Campbelltown Hospital ED sees the third-largest number of presentations per year in New South Wales.
The site of the campus is a former brownfield site that was once occupied by rail lines and a waste incubator. The construction of the observatory was principally funded in cash and kind from the Campbelltown Branch of Rotary International and other local organisations.
