    Unless there's some particular need for extreme concision (trying to avoid a MOS:SANDWICH issue maybe?), a caption like "The lighthouse in 2022" is fine. I might push, gently, for a caption like "In 2022" for an article with a bunch of images of the same subject in various years, rather than repeat "X in 2018", "X in 2019", "X in 2020".
