Early Deaf School guitarist Paul Pilnick died in 2021. In November 2022, Deaf School reformed to play London's 100 Club, followed by shows in Brighton and Liverpool, featuring all the living members of the original line up, with Gregg Braden on drums. The same line up played dates in 2023 and November 2024.
