It was released on April 13, 2023, which is the same day the movie trailer was released for the music video lyrics, [5] and the official music video on May 19, 2023, six days before the full release on May 25.
Polis Evo is a Malaysian buddy cop action comedy film series, created by Joel Soh (who served as producer), Kyle Goonting and Anwari Ashraf, who previously became an Astro Scholarship Students. The film series are produced and distributed by Astro Shaw and features Shaheizy Sam as Khairul/Inspector Khai and Zizan Razak as Hassani/Inspector Sani.
Polis Evo’s success led Joel to co-found Blackflag in 2017, where he served as Managing Director. At Blackflag, Joel began work on Polis Evo 2 , which he co-directed alongside Andre Chiew. Released in 2018, the sequel outperformed its predecessor, earning over RM20 million at the Malaysian box office.
The film's launch ceremony were held in Hard Rock Cafe, Kuala Lumpur on 3 August 2015. The movie trailer were also released on YouTube on the same date. Subsequently, Polis EVO had its premiere at GSC Pavilion Kuala Lumpur on 3 September 2015. The movie had its theatrical release on 17 September 2015 in 98 cinemas nationwide and also Brunei. [8]
The Experts is the fourth film produced by Blackflag after the succession of Polis Evo trilogy with Astro Shaw. It will be Andre Chiew and Nazim Shah's second directional for either of them which Andre previously co-directed with Joel Soh (Polis Evo 2) [1] and Nazim (J2: J Retribusi) with Nazrul Asraff Mahzan, art director for the film.
