Loop 232 was located in Waco. Loop 232 was designated on October 31, 1958, from US 84/FM 2418 east of Bellmead southeast to FM 2491. On September 27, 1960, the road was extended 1.4 miles (2.3 km) south to SH 6. Loop 232 was cancelled on March 9, 1964, and transferred to Loop 340.
Loop 11 (Loop 11), also known locally as Beverly Loop, is located in northwestern Wichita Falls. Loop 11 begins at an intersection with Bus. US 277 (Bus. US 277, Seymour Highway), about three miles (4.8 km) west of downtown. The road continues south of here as Beverly Drive. After about 1 ⁄ 4 mile (0.40 km), the highway crosses the Wichita River.
Loop 378 is located in San Angelo. Loop 378 was designated on December 4, 1968, from US 87 north of San Angelo along Chadbourne St to US 87 at Washington Drive as a replacement of US 87 when it was rerouted. On February 19, 1972, the road was extended south to US 87 when it was rerouted again.
On May 6, 1969, Loop 9 was designated from I-20 north, east, south, west, and northwest back to I-20. On October 21, 1977, Loop 9 was cancelled and portions became SH 161 and SH 190 the same day. The Loop 9 designation was restored on June 29, 2017, to an unbuilt highway from I-35E to I-45. [5]
The entire length of Loop 360 is 13.8 miles (22.2 km). An extension of 0.7 miles (1.1 km) to connect the northern end of Loop 360 with Loop 1 was once considered part of the Loop, but has since been removed from the state highway system. The segment of Loop 360 south of US 183 is designated a scenic roadway by the City of Austin. [2]
