Plainview High School is a public high school located in the city of Plainview, Texas, USA and classified as a 5A school by the UIL. It is a part of the Plainview Independent School District located in northeast Hale County. In 2015, the school was rated "Met Standard" by the Texas Education Agency. [2]

As of 2008 Plainview ISD stated that 9% of its students were limited English proficient (LEP); the school district made efforts to move students out of bilingual education in grades 1 and 2. It opened as Plainview-Old Bethpage High School, but was converted into Plainview-Old Bethpage Middle School in 1991, the same year the high schools merged into one.
