Lossiemouth (Scottish Gaelic: Inbhir Losaidh) is a town in Moray, Scotland.Originally the port belonging to Elgin, it became an important fishing town.Although there has been over 1,000 years of settlement in the area, the present day town was formed over the past 250 years and consists of four separate communities that eventually merged into one.
The East Beach Bridge is a footbridge which crosses the River Lossie and connects Lossiemouth (a coastal town in Moray in northeast Scotland) to the East Beach. The present bridge was opened in 2022 and replaced an older structure.
Hopeman has two large sandy beaches split by the man-made harbour.The West Beach is the smaller. The East Beach is surrounded by large, grassy sand dunes, and has colourful beach huts and large rocky areas with excellent rockpools (the one at the eastern edge is known as Daisy Rock).
