Bangladesh National Nutrition Council (BNNC) is an government body under ministry of Health and Family Welfare is an apex body for multisectoral coordination planning, monitoring, advocacy for nutrition and to formulate National Food and Nutrition Policy in Bangladesh and is located in IPH Building, Mohakhali, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Bangladesh Sugar and Food Industries Corporation was established on 1 July 1976. [5] The Corporation was in charge of 15 state run sugar mills of the country in 2015. [6] It tried to export sugar to Europe. [7] In 2012 Private dealers didn't take order from the Corporation, as it offered a higher price than the market. [8]
In March 2018, Golden Harvest signed an agreement with Jubilant FoodWorks to launch Domino's Pizza in Bangladesh. [16] The first branch was opened in Dhanmondi on 15 March 2019 under a joint venture company called Jubilant Golden Harvest Limited. After the independence of Bangladesh in 1972, two separate ministries namely Ministry of Relief and Rehabilitation and Ministry of Food were formed. In 1982, the two ministries were merged into two departments under the Ministry of Food; namely - the Food Department and the Relief and Rehabilitation Department.
