Curious George (vocal effects by Frank Welker) is a tailless monkey who is the protagonist of the series. Curious George is the first film in the Curious George series. In an attempt to save the Bloomsberry Museum, a museum director named Ted goes to Africa to find a forty-foot idol, while encountering a monkey he later names George, who goes onto the boat to America with Ted, to Ted's apartment, causing a strict doorman named Ivan to go furious.
