Vinton High School is a Title I public high school located in the city of Vinton, Louisiana. It is a part of Calcasieu Parish Public Schools. The school colors are red and blue, [3] and the Principal is Eric Heinen. [4] The school had an enrollment of 296 for the 2020-21 school year. [5]
The first annual Calcasieu–Louisiana Fair [28] scheduled a high school football game between the hometown Lake Charles High team and Boys High, billing it as being for the state championship. The game was a very successful draw, as 3,000 of the fair's 10,000 attendees watched LCHS' 17–11 victory.

[3] The football stadium was renamed Glover Stadium in 1971 after Richard Glover, an assistant and head football coach at Anaheim High School from 1931 until 1957. The baseball field was renamed Dee Fee Field in 1987 after Dee Fee, who worked for the Anaheim Parks Department from 1937 to 1987. [4]
Pilot Field replaced the long-obsolete War Memorial Stadium, which had been designed mainly for football, and hosted the NFL's Buffalo Bills; but it had been (awkwardly) fit for baseball after the city's baseball park, Offermann Stadium, was condemned and torn down in 1960 to build a high school in its place.
