It features the Japanese comedian Takeshi Kitano (also known as Beat Takeshi) as a count who sets up difficult physical challenges that players (or a volunteer army) must overcome in order to reach him in his castle.

    Which is what it comes down to: Takeshi's Castle is simply the source material for MXC. If MXC were a straight translation of Takeshi's Castle, I would be fine with giving it just a subsection in this article. But MXC is not a dub or a translation, it is, as Skabat said, a total RE-dub which does nothing to preserve the essence of Takeshi's Castle.
