Archbishop McNicholas High School is a coed school in the neighborhood of Mt. Washington in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. The school was opened in 1951 and named in honor of John T. McNicholas , Archbishop of Cincinnati .

John Timothy McNicholas, O.P. (December 15, 1877 – April 22, 1950) was an Irish-born prelate of the Roman Catholic Church. A Dominican priest, he served as bishop of the Diocese of Duluth in Minnesota from 1918 to 1925 and as archbishop of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati in Ohio from 1925 to 1950.
He attended Immaculate Heart of Mary in Cincinnati for grade school and then attended Archbishop McNicholas High School in Cincinnati, and played for the McNicholas Rockets high school football team. He was a three-time all-conference selection and was named the Greater Catholic League's Punter of the Year following his junior and senior seasons.
