Applebee's Restaurants LLC. is an American company that develops, franchises, and operates the Applebee's Neighborhood Grill + Bar restaurant chain.The Applebee's concept focuses on casual dining, with mainstream American dishes such as salads, chicken, burgers, and "riblets" (Applebee's signature dish).
The chain operates two food production facilities–one in Arizona and one in Texas–which prepare produce directly from farms and deliver it to stores. The salad chain has plans to build a new food production facility in North Texas by 2025. The average Salad and Go store size is approximately 750 square feet. [8]
In 2012, Souper Salad was acquired by LNC Ventures, which was owned by Dan and Jackie Hernandez. By late 2013, the chain was down to 45 locations.
