The Whitcomb Hotel, located in St. Joseph, Michigan, was a renowned hotel in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries known for its mineral spa and panoramic views of Lake Michigan and the St. Joseph River. It is now a four-star senior living community. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2021. [1]

St. Joseph, colloquially known as St. Joe, is a city and the county seat of Berrien County, Michigan. It was incorporated as a village in 1834 and as a city in 1891. [ 4 ] As of the 2020 census , the city population was 7,856. [ 5 ]
The motel declined during the 1970s, and in 1979 Sarkisian sold it to William and Carlene Lymburner. They rehabilitated the hotel, selling it in 1986. The motel went through a number of subsequent owners, [4] and by 1996 had morphed into the St. Joseph Inn which was intended to serve long-term residents. The motel was demolished on March 27, 2006.
The St. Joseph North Pier Inner and Outer Lights are lighthouses in St. Joseph, Michigan, US, at the entrance to the St. Joseph River on Lake Michigan.The station was built in 1832 with the current lights built in 1906 and 1907; [1] [4] they were decommissioned in 2005.
