Sylvester and Tweety appeared in a DC Comics and Looney Tunes crossover comic called Catwoman/Tweety and Sylvester #1. In the issue, witches from the DC and Looney Tunes universes placed a wager where the existence of all birds and cats (as well as all bird- and cat-themed heroes and villains) depended on if Sylvester could eat Tweety.

Sylvester uses a net to try to capture the bird, but as the shifty Tweety dodges the net, the cat hits a bear with the net. The bear grabs the net, pulls Sylvester in and expresses his displeasure. At feeding time, Sylvester hides in the zookeeper's meat cart. Hoping to get "fed" to Tweety, he instead is thrown to a pack of Bengal tigers.

It is the only scene in which Granny appears, as the rest of the cartoon is devoted to Sylvester's latest attempts to catch and eat Tweety, which begins when, after failing to grab a fish by hiding in a fisherman's basket (the fisherman caught a crab instead, which Sylvester gets attacked by), he sees the boat carrying the canary chug past.
Sylvester sets a box, stick and string trap with a cob of corn for bait. Tweety gives himself away (but not before have a conversation with an overconfident and oblivious Sylvester about how clever the cat is), leading to Sylvester trying to wallop Tweety with a stick, but Tweety jumps out of the way, and he bonks himself on the head.
The cat follows the deliveryman and rushes into the yard, only to stumble upon a whole army of bulldogs. The rest of the cartoon contains Sylvester's attempts (all unsuccessful) to get at Tweety: Sylvester uses a stick with an imitation cat on it, but the bulldogs clobber it. Then he paces to think up another plan.
