    192.168.0.1 is IP for the modem, of which systemcontroller.com is an alias domain. 192.168.42.1 is the IP for the router. When you log in you're logging into the router's wifi settings and should be using the admin password for it - that's not the same as the password to access the wifi on your device.

    I tried again this morning and still cannot access anything while plugged directly into the ht2000. I do get an IP from the dhcp, including the 192.168.0.1 as the dns. But I cannot ping anything on the internet. I can access the ht2000 at the IP I had set for it of 192.168.2.1. But I cannot reach anything forward, including 192.168.0.1.

    To do this, I held the WPS button for 30 seconds. Afterward, I unplugged the router from the Optical Network Terminal (ONT) and allowed it to restart. I then connected my laptop to the router and updated all the desired settings, such as the SSID and passwords.
