Starczala was signed by the Ottawa Redblacks of the CFL on January 3, 2022. [7] He was moved to the practice roster on June 5, and was released on October 30. Mardner was selected by the Ottawa Redblacks of the Canadian Football League (CFL) with the second overall pick in the 2024 CFL draft.
